One of the main challenges of the Privacy Officer is to define and implement the privacy program and, in parallel, to meet the business objectives.
I focus on understanding the organization’s business plan and the market, and then develop a privacy strategy to enable continued operations and, in turn, improve privacy maturity. This builds trust with customers and potential customers, which translates into increased sales.
A basic pillar of my work strategy is privacy awareness. I take care to reach all areas of the organization and make them change their mentality, so that they start thinking about privacy as ingredient and involve the privacy team by default in all those projects or actions to analyze them from the beginning and work together to analyze their risks.
In order to make the best decisions, I focus on providing imaginative solutions that allow the organization to operate as safely as possible without losing business opportunities.
